Summary of Children and Young People's Plan now here!

A summary version of the Trust’s Children and Young People’s Plan (CYPP) has been published, drawing out the plan’s key messages and distilling the information into more concise pieces.  The summary, designed for a quick read over a coffee break, covers the vision, principles and the priority areas of work.  It follows the launch of the full CYPP document in April. ContactPoint gets new project manager

Diane Demeger is now Devon’s lead on the national child information database, ContactPoint. Diane’s appointment follows the departure of Tony Peacock in July.  ContactPoint will be launched to early adopter areas in the north west of England in October, with Devon’s launch scheduled for March 2009. Diane explained: “To make sure ContactPoint is secure each service will need to be accredited. Staff will then be trained. We are already preparing data systems for their quality accreditation.”

All services using ContactPoint are represented on the AXS Programme Board by a senior manager and will have a ContactPoint service lead.  The leads will inform staff as they plan the roll-out in their service. For more information
