Children’s Trust Partnership Council
The Children’s Trust Partnership Council complements and underpins the work of the Children’s Trust Board by ensuring strategic and local coherence to the work of the Children’s Trust and includes representation from partners and stakeholders.
The Partnership Council provides the central point for developing, monitoring and reviewing the Children and Young People’s Plan.
The Council also:
- assesses need in Devon
- works to make sure that everyone’s voice is heard, including children and young people
- celebrates the achievements of children and young people
- challenges perceptions and stereotypes of young people
- provides links to other partnerships, committees and boards.
The Partnership Council meets ten times a year and all meetings are chaired by the independent chair.
